American Queen Voyages offers an all-inclusive cruise experience in Canada, the Great Lakes and New England aboard Ocean Navigator and Ocean Voyager, and we’re using our blog today to tell you why we should be your one and only choice for small-ship, luxury cruising in these regions.

Our casual yet elegant ships

Ocean Navigator and Ocean Voyager are agile, intimate ships that easily navigate canals and locks, tranquil bays and hidden ports where larger ships dare not go. On board, our fresh, modern design tips its hat to our maritime past as spacious lounges, inviting dining venues and generous windows ensure that you never miss a chance to savour the spectacular view. Our ships are perfect for exploring North America and both have recently undergone refurbishments.

Amazing destinations

Our ships visit some of the most interesting, historically rich and diverse destinations in Canada, New England and throughout the Great Lakes. Each itinerary is different, but each is immersive and will certainly leave you with last memories. In Canada and along the St Lawrence we visit Halifax, Montreal, Quebec City, Tadoussac and more. Our New England itineraries offer Boston, Lunenburg and Portland, while our Great Lakes itineraries showcase everything you could expect, including Niagara Falls and the Soo Locks, and destinations such as Toronto, Chicago and Cleveland.

Let us take you deeper

A holiday with American Queen Voyages is not just like any other cruise. It’s a real immersive experience that will offer the very best onboard and ashore. A cruise with us is the chance to step deeper into the heart of a destination and really understand its history. It’s also the chance to experience some engineering marvels, natural formations and incredible marine and bird life. Our sailings offer something for everyone and we’re sure once you’ve stepped aboard one of our ships, it won’t be the last time we see you.

Perfect for everyone

Our intimate ships are the ideal choice for all cruisers, especially those travelling on their own. They are small enough to allow you to see familiar faces on a daily basis, but large enough to allow the feeling of space – there’s always a spot to be found in which to relax and unwind.

Food, glorious food!

Our gastronomic delights are served in two distinctive venues onboard. The Shearwater Dining Room, our main restaurant, offers classic epicurean delights that are sure to satisfy the fine-dining cravings of every food lover. For those who would prefer a more casual experience, the Cliff Rock Bar & Grille is your stop. Meat and seafood are abundant, and they’re always better enjoyed with a slice of homemade pie to finish.

Our afternoon tea offerings are also available, including 3 themed teas: British Royal High Tea, Maharaja High Tea and a Viennese High Tea.

Our amazing crew

With accommodations onboard for just 202 passengers, our expert crew of 84 individuals is ready to ensure your cruise experience with American Queen Voyages is second to none, from beginning to end. Our crew prides themselves on offering a level of service that goes way above and beyond what could ever be expected.

The best all-inclusive lectures and shore excursions on the water – yes, we said it!

One thing we’ve always been passionate about at Victory Cruise Lines is ensuring our guests get the best on board and ashore, and that’s why our shore excursions are immersive, rich in history and most importantly, fun.

We blend our shore excursions with an onboard enrichment programme that sees lectures from destination-oriented historians and naturalists who are eager to share their vast knowledge and expertise of the history, ecology and culture of each of our ports of call.

Staterooms and Suites

Every stateroom and suite aboard M/V Victory I and M/V Victory II are ocean view, so you never miss a chance to see what’s going on outside. Luxury robes and slippers add some home comfort to your space and our cool 100% Egyptian cotton bedding, premium mattresses and luxury pillow menu will ensure a great night’s sleep before another day of exploration.
