Experience the movie Elvis in real life on our shore excursion, The Elvis Experience. Begin your Mississippi River journey with a tour of the “The King’s” home, Graceland. The mansion has an audio tour that walks you through each part of rock & roll legend Elvis Presley’s life. After exploring Graceland, the Entertainment Complex features numerous exhibits with Elvis’ clothing, cars, and legacy. As you take a journey back in time through Elvis’ life, you can feel the spirit of “The King” all around you.

Dubuque, Iowa, Field of Dreams

Walk the steps of Kevin Costar, James Earl Jones, and Ray Liotta during the Field of Dreams Experience. Located just outside of Dubuque, Iowa, in nearby Dyersville, guests can see the Field of Dreams movie’s signature farmhouse and baseball diamond. Did you know that the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds played at the Field of Dreams Stadium on August 11, 2022?

Mackinac Island, Michigan, Somewhere in Time

If you remember the classic movie, Somewhere in Time, a trip to Mackinac Island, Michigan, is a must. The famous motion picture starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour was filmed on Mackinac Island, with many scenes taking place in The Grand Hotel. Join the American Queen Voyages team on a Great Lakes sailing and embark on a horse-drawn carriage tour around Mackinac Island. As you take in the charm of the island, you will eventually come face to face with The Grand Hotel. Once there, keep your eyes peeled for the vintage framed photo of Jane Seymour.

The famous film features iconic Chicago locations, such as Wrigley Field, Sears Tower, and Grant Park, now known as Millennium Park. Sitka, Alaska, The Proposal

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jack Reacher

Take a trip to the “Steel City” to immerse yourself in the action thriller film Jack Reacher. Visit PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates and the opening scene of the hit film with actor Tom Cruise. Then walk along the Allegheny River for scenic views. As you explore the city of Pittsburgh, make sure to also visit stop and smell the roses at the Botanical Gardens and get a history lesson at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

New Orleans, Louisiana, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Travel to the past with the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, based loosely on a short story written by famed author F. Scott Fitzgerald. Enjoy sailing to or from New Orleans or go on a roundtrip voyage to see some of the New Orleans locations this three-time Oscar-winning movie was filmed.
